Cookie Policy
Short version: we don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
Last updated October 29, 2026
Cookies we set
None for visitors. HipBits doesn't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies on this website. The only cookies we set are sign-in cookies for our own team when they log in to manage the site; if you aren't one of them, you won't get any.
Browser storage
The site keeps a couple of small notes in your browser's own storage so it behaves sensibly: which show you last picked in the menu (cleared when you close the tab) and whether you've already seen an announcement, so we don't show it again. These stay on your device, are never sent to us, and you can clear them any time in your browser settings.
YouTube videos
Videos in “Latest from the network” are hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; once you do, YouTube may set its own cookies under Google's cookie policy. Links out to Instagram, TikTok, X and LinkedIn take you to those services, which have their own policies.
The HipBits TV app
The app uses no cookies. It stores your playback position on your Apple TV only, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
If this changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
